PEER MENTORING
Coach the Coach
“Coaching the coach” is empowering for those students who wish to support their peers on their educational journey. A:I colleagues have delivered coaching to Key Stage 5 students who in turn support Key stage 4 students in their GCSEs. We have also trained Year 11 students to support Year 10 in their 1st year of GCSE options.

Both streams have proved incredibly fruitful with KS5 students gaining transferable skills, not to mention the important experience to support future HE or employment applications. The younger students benefit from the mentoring of students who have already covered the journey – it’s a “WIN-WIN”.
